People just don’t want to work

This is what a customer said to me, after she said I was the only associate she had seen and I explained that I was the only associate covering four departments. She said people just don't want to work. And I wished I as a associate facing another holiday where I would be double pointed to stay with my family, but receive no perk or incentive for showing up on that holiday. An hour cut for a 5th week, on a pay that doesnt cover enough to afford an apartment and another week of mixed hours. It's not people dont want to work. They dont want to work for shitty hours, and shitty pay and managers who want you to work faster while you are already covering four other departments because they have more freight (a big effu manager mark)
