People who work from home part or full time, how much work do you actually do?

I work for a state agency in a niche IT position. Fridays are extremely slow so I requested to WFH this day. Not uncommon in my agency as there are a lot of people who WFH full time. Most IT folks get one day to WFH so I chose Fridays. When I’m in the office M-Th I’m usually busy enough. Because it’s so slow today, I: – Slept in – Ran a errand – Worked Out – Did the dishes – Started on some laundry – Got some grad school work done – Took my dog for a walk – Took my time making/eating lunch – Took a nap – Made this post on Reddit Between all this, I’ll walk over to my work laptop on the dining room table, see all the emails that aren’t there, and get back to whatever I feel like doing I don’t clock in…

Because it’s so slow today, I:
– Slept in
– Ran a errand
– Worked Out
– Did the dishes
– Started on some laundry
– Got some grad school work done
– Took my dog for a walk
– Took my time making/eating lunch
– Took a nap
– Made this post on Reddit

Between all this, I’ll walk over to my work laptop on the dining room table, see all the emails that aren’t there, and get back to whatever I feel like doing

I don’t clock in or out, I just enter my hours for each day manually.

When I speak to friends who have exclusive WFH jobs, they tell me they stay in front of their computer pretty much during their scheduled time.

Curious how common my situation is.
