People would rather risk dying by ignoring a fire alarm than risk their jobs by evacuating the building

During a fire drill everyone gets up, but a fire alarm just went off this morning unexpectedly. No one knew if it was a drill or not. I'm the only one in my office suite that actually got up to evacuate because why risk being trapped on the top floor of the building, right? It's insane how we drill and drill, but when an alarm actually happens people would rather sit and keep working because “it's probably nothing anyway”.
