Anyone have any luck getting a 100% remote position at their current role that used to be 100% office? I moved out of NYC over a year ago and never told my job. Was hoping to get an external remote position but haven’t had any luck. Terrified I will have to eventually go back but it would be a 3 hour commute each way for me where I currently live.
What do you think would be the best way to approach this with HR? My manager is all for being remote. Our company also had the best year in 2021 with record numbers. No idea why they would want to ruin that with returning to the office. Thanks for any advice!
