Always wanted a personal assistant to take care of all the things I didn't want to deal with (based on how my ex's job was) and just now realizing (20 years later) the thing I wanted was basically a “sharecropper” from back in the day….fuck.
Drunk thoughts, but also, if you're a “personal assistant” maybe re-evaluate how much you're worth, yeah? You're probably salary (if it's like it was 20 years ago) and your time is worth a whole lot more than you think. You're doing a lot to help your employer's life run smoother. Are you being paid enough to deal with that? Are you only being paid the way a “sharecropper” would?
You're worth more than being someone's crutch, is all I'm saying. Cheers.
