Rover currently has a dangerous policy, despite numerous incidents and complaints from sitters, that sitters are not allowed to see the reviews written by other sitters about owners.
Not only does this present a threat to the sitters’ property and safety (neither of which are insured by rover) it’s a threat to the livelihood of the animals in case a tragedy occurs.
Rover has notoriously not taken any steps to ensure the safety of the sitters, and they refuse to even entertain this serious safety concern though it’s been brought to their attention many times. We are asking that Rover immediately change this policy and make owner reviews visible to prospective sitters, and allow us to protect each other’s and the animals’ safety.
