I've been looking for a job for about 9 months now. I've applied for about 90 jobs in that time and have had 4 interviews. I was supposed to have a phone interview this morning at 10:30. I get a call at 10:30, but google screens the call, thinking it's spam. I answer the call and I can hear the woman on the other end but she can't hear me. She hangs up after a few seconds and I go to call her back. I don't have her direct line so I have to wait through an obnoxiously long series of prompts to call her again. The phone just rings and rings and no one picks up. While I'm on the phone trying to call this woman back I get an email from her saying they couldn't get a hold of me and that they wish me luck in my job search. Pretty easy way to ruin my day and it was out of my control.
