For years in my work place my nose piercings were never an issue (I have both nostrils pierced). Now since the end of COVID guidelines and the removal of masks my employer is asking people to remove their piercings.
Am I right in feeling this is a little unfair as it was never an issue before? I honestly dont feel it impacts my professionalism or ability to work at a high standard. I also struggle to justify removing something which makes me an 'individual' and makes me feel better about myself for a minimum wage job.
Does anyone have any advice on how to counteract this issue?
