A family member of mine passed last week. I get 3 days from work. We aren’t having a funeral, just a celebration of life with an undetermined date at this time. Regardless of when it happens, I have vacation time, and don’t work weekends so I would be able to make it. I’d like to take it start tomorrow, as I haven’t had real time to grieve, as my work is mentally taxing (CPS). I feel bad, as tomorrow Monday and Tuesday will be the worst, as school is starting and we will get a flood of reports. Please help convince me to take this time as I feel really bad contemplating it.
