Please do not tip someone who works takeout or Drive Thru. These businesses are trying to shift the responsibility for paying their employees to their customers.

I was prompted for a tip at Subway yesterday on the card machine. The answer is fuck no. Subway is charging $12 and change for the same sandwich they used to advertise for $5 a few years ago. Now they also want to outsource payroll to the customer and try to make those tipped positions. Anyone get prompted for a tip at a gas station yet? I know some brilliant entrepreneurs must have seized on the opportunity to beg for tips when you buy a candy bar at the corner store.
