Hi all, Please suggest me what should I do further.
I am working as an manager in a small company owned by two individuals and backed by three other staff members who are senior HR, head of research, and other client engagement head.
This is a small company of 30-40 employees working at a time.
I am manager in operations and working for past 3 years now. I started from bottom level as fresher here and I worked and performed well to get 4 promotions.
However, on March 1 I resigned due to following reasons.
First I got better offer than here. Secondly, my work was being pointed out by one of the owner of the company. So it was not wrong but in old fashion. I was not able to upgrade cuz I am overworked. I have like 18 projects at moment while other managers have 2-6 at a time. Third, I was not learning much here so for me learning while work is major thing.
Now in this company acceptance and discussion of relieving date is verbal. So I discussed with the head of manager (my direct manager) about same and it was decided that I'll be relieved in 45 days (15 april)
But today one of my colleague also resigned due to family emergency and suddenly my company have stated that everyone has ti serve a minimum of 2 months notice period. So my date shifts to 30 april.
I discussed this with my new employer and they have told me that if delayed then they'll have to cancel the offer letter cuz they also have a timetable aligned.
Now what to do please suggest.
Thanks for reading out tbh.
I have completed multiple projects done ample amount of overtime and is also willing to complete all my current projects, but this child like behaviour is really saddening me.
Edit are below.
Please note that if I leave my organisation immediately they'll keep my salary for last 25 days and will not release my experience letter.
Yes, I can get another job I trust my skills that much, maybe not in a very big company but yeah I'll get one for sure.
Please also note that my new employer if told about early joining might actually accept my application. As it benefits them. Ao yes tomorrow I'll chk with them first.
