Soooooo, this week we were supposed to have an in-person brainstorming session that THEY insisted on. This would require me to travel quite a way at my own expense, and they know that. I think it was just a power move, tbh.
Anyhooo, they've apparently fucked off for the whole week and didn't tell me or my boss. They did set up an out office reply thing, which is the only way we knew they were out and not just slow in replying. WTF?
I don't see how you could accidentally set up an OOO reply, and not notice a full morning into the workday, so I think they really are away.
This is the SECOND time this person has no-showed on us. It's one among many reasons why I don't like dealing with this person. They are sloppy and unprofessional.
Also, just the GALL of insisting on an in-person meeting that heavily burdens one person and not even having the decency to cancel. Who does that?
