I work as an IT Technician in an office. And hell is it boring. I'm 22, just started here. It's 40 hrs a week. It's for 1 year (work experience for university)
I can't see myself doing this for the next year never mind the rest of my life. It's soul crushing. Everyone here is 40+ and I feel isolated.
Go to work, go home, sleep x5 a week isn't human really, well not for most people.
A lot of people go on about material stuff and cars, objects and things they buy. I literally don't care about any of that. I don't want to buy a house or whatever.
I have depression and PTSD which is tough, sometimes manageable, sometimes not.
I don't want to not work at all and sit at home. I'd probably go nuts. I also struggle with loneliness
Do any of you work part time only? Do you get welfare also? How do you manage?
