AITA- am I being too sensitive or does this workplace suck? So I (23F) work from home in Canada, fast pace customer service work from home job which a pay .50 cents over the work from home minimum, with our prices in Canada it’s garbage. We do phone, chat & email with a majority being email. Phones are 3 out of 5 days a week. We’re over worked, under paid but that’s everybody right? There was a system update & my headset doesn’t work now with this system. Livin pay cheque to pay cheque, I explained I can get a new one but not until pay day. Their resolution was that I just won’t be able to work if I can’t get a new one before my next scheduled phone day. I’m fuming. It’s not my fault there was an update we were unaware of that impacted my headset abilities.…

Am I the asshole for wanting to quit & find a new job ASAP? Do you think it’s a fair ask of them & im being over dramatic? It is the job requirements but it’s out of my control at this point and there’s other queues I can be in.
