I read this story about a Texas school district instituting a new dress code for kids in 5th grade and higher. No jeans, no hoodies, no skirts … The pieces of sh_t who run the district said that “the shift is intended to prepare students to enter the workplace.”
Grades K-12 are NOT supposed to train obedient workers. School is supposed to give students the skills to be free and informed citizens who can participate in democracy. Work is the exact opposite of democracy. 99% of employers are organized according to a feudal system.
The kids will learn about that soon enough.
