You know how the law is designed to protect wealth and its owners from the consequences of screwing over the unwealthy? I wonder if one way of building worker power alongside other strategies would be for local groups to hold pro se (on ones own behalf) legal clinics about workers rights and legal means of self defense. It's probably one of those things where “the masters tools won't dismantle the masters house” but maybe harm reduction is worth it? As well as the opportunity to network towards unionizing or taking over, if those aren't options right away.
Idk, just from my own perspective, being a precarious wage worker is really isolating, and it would be cool to have a realistic alternative to running to HR if I have a question or concern. Just curious what others think.
