Pro Tip: Just because your boss is breaking the law, doesn’t mean you have the resources to fight it

I see a lot of egregious workplace violations posted in here with a slew of comments “that’s illegal, tell them to fuck off” to which, yeah, but also they’re likely to just get fired. Most people will not have the time, resources, connections, or mental stamina to go through a lawsuit with a corporate legal team. They know this, this is why they break the rules. Reporting is helpful, at the very least because it creates a paper trail.
