I work at a fucking Panera Bread. Sometimes when we bag up the donations for the charities, no one picks them up, so they get tossed out the next day. But when I’m working and I see the bags of day old bread, I take em and put them in my car to give away to less fortunate people. Well, the GM at my store is currently cracking the whip on everyone she doesn’t li- I mean, all the “bad employees”. And today I got told to make sure they get thrown out. Ignored that shit and took it like normal. Probably getting fired for being a decent human being, but fuck it. I know plenty of people that can use this bread, and I’m not throwing good food away because the GM is throwing a tantrum about the employees she hates. (She fired a guy for calling in sick, because she changed the policy to force people to get their own shifts covered, rather than do her damn job and find someone to cover the shift.)
