I work in a factory, I had to re run some material and j forgot to unplug the oil, and it caused oil to get all over the place. I didn't know what to do with the material so I told my boss I had an oil spill and it got all over the desk and wire.
Well my boss told me not to worry about it the wire will be fine. That was in April, today I get pulled in the office and they ask me what happend and inform me the customer complained. So I tell them I asked my boss he conveniently doesn't remember the oil leak at all.
So they come back to me after the meeting and tell me I'm gonna be scrapping Thursday and Friday, are canceling my weekend overtime and are gonna decide what to do with me on Monday.
That's my story but my question is. What should I say to avoid termination?
