PSA: Nestle isn’t a scumbag company because they’re selling water in Russia

It's because they're SELLING WATER. It's because they partake in slavery and child abuse. All of the sanctions on Russia like removing them from SWIFT, pulling out companies that provide basic goods and services to their people etc, none of this helps. It's not the moral thing to do, it's actually the opposite. You're hurting innocent Russians most of whom are against the war, and many of whom are ACTIVELY PROTESTING THE WAR at great personal risk to themselves and their family. All you accomplish with macro sanctions is hurt the common man while doing nothing to the people actually responsible for the war. It sure as fuck doesn't help Ukraine that a random Russian can't buy a big mac. All these sanctions do aside from hurting the average person is turn the average person against the west. You know, the people ACTIVELY making their lives worse for a decision…

You know, the people ACTIVELY making their lives worse for a decision that they didn't make and had no part in when the west could instead be taking actions that specifically punish Putin and his oligarchs specifically.

If you're pro-worker then you should be against hurting the workers of Russia.
