Psychological pressure to avoid resigning

I am currently working as a contractor for a company and assigned to another company, the client. I have only recently been asigned to the client, about 3 weeks, the last year was with another client. Now I have received a very good offer to leave and they want me to start in 1 week. Obviously I'm telling this to my manager and informing that I'm resigning, that I understand that I may have to pay something for not giving notice, but my managers have been torturing my mind, I've been stressed for days, because all they say is how I cant leave suddenly, how I have to think about their side, how Im leaving them in a vulnerable spot, but i have an offer to make 3x what I make now. I hate going through having to always talk to someone, always talk to the manager, always having to explain shit, all of this is so tiresome.
