So I got a job offer for better position that is 100% remote. I gave my current company two weeks notice. Which I am currently about 1/2 way through. Per the handbook, it states that a two weeks notice is required to receive PTO payout. I live in MN. Now they are denying my PTO payout because I haven’t been here for at least a year, I’ve been here 9 months, but there is no one year stipulation anywhere in the handbook. If I would have known that I would have used my PTO beforehand. WTF 🤬
