Pushed into a job role I’m not qualified for with zero training.

I was hired on as a Project Coordinator and pushed to the role of Network Engineer within a month despite me informing my manager I have no background in this field. This role works overnights and on the weekends and was a complete 180 on my schedule at the very last minute. When I asked about training I was told the person leaving would be “getting me up to speed” but this person has since already departed the company. My boss wouldn’t entertain the discussion of a pay raise nor even acknowledge this role in itself is a leadership position: I’m in really tough position because I don’t have a higher up manager to go to because he just departed the company as well. I fear if I push back any further I may be fired. This is the best paying job I’ve had and I really don’t want to…

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
