Lately ive been becoming feeling more and more pushed out of my team and company. I work in a datacenter as a tecnical specialist. Ive been here since i was 24 but 7 years later im still here in the same job, sure ive recived 3 promotions over the years and about to get a 4th. but theres no challenge left and the work that actually might have some challenge is being assigned to the new guy. Instead im being assigned clean up work of other peoples messy projects and haven't owned a project from start to finish in years. It frustrating how im supposed to be a lead of my team, but feeling as if i have no reason to be. Many days i have been wondering what is my job anymore? What am i supposed to be doing? More often then not I've just been feeling lost. Im not sure if this even the proper place to put this. I want to quit but dont see anywhere to go. I want to psersue system administration but it feels like im just not wanted here at my company.
