I work a relatively easy office job right. it only pays about $12/hr but I took it because i’d have a lot of free time to focus on my degree. (online university) I was planning on coping with the low pay until I graduated.
However, some unfortunate things went down in my family which caused me to have to pay a lot more money each month. and throughout the year I’ve been working here I’ve noticed a lot of pretty horrible things.
So I decided to look for a new job.
I was lucky enough to find one in a field that I’ve always wanted to experience.
I put in my 2 weeks for the sake of being polite as they are quite understaffed and I didn’t want my coworkers to pick up a ton of work.
anyways. today my boss came into the office and i overheard her talking to a few of my coworkers about me. she was going off about how i’m an inside joke in her family and the names they call me (all based around my appearance)
and how i should be grateful for them even hiring me because she and her husband were hesitant on hiring women.
she went on a straight 5 minute rant and I would love to just walk out right now but I can’t afford to.
