I’ve worked for a non profit organization for about a year and a half. I quit for a few weeks awhile ago, but the new job didn’t work out so I took a position with the same organization at a different location (approx a mile from the old one).
It’s been hell since. My bosses don’t like that I’m vaccinated (this is a healthcare place. I don’t agree that they aren’t vaccinated, but I don’t say shit cuz it isnt my business) but they keep making little remarks about it. Then I got a final disciplinary notice without any prior discipline issues and no explanation.
So last Monday I applied to a family owned business that I’ve been wanting to work at for a long time, got offered and interview on Thursday, went on Friday and was offered the job.
I’ve never put in my notice in person due to anxiety (and trying to catch supervisors to talk), but I can’t wait to see their reaction.
