Question about medical leave, can the supervisor assign you jobs while you are on one?

So I am on HR approved medical leave, paid for by a very small portion over 100 days of accrued sick leave. My supervisor keeps giving me the “I know you are on leave but can you…..” It is up to five contacts now for stuff that can easily wait, she is claiming that it is customary for people to still work while they are on sick leave. Does that actually violate the federal and state FMLA laws? Any suggestions?
