Hi all, I'm just a regular reader here; this is the first time I'm posting. I'm here to clarify some concepts, cuz I'm a bit confused. I'm living in an Asian country, Taiwan, and here they don't count the 1-hour lunch break as a paying work hour. I currently have a 9-5 job, which means, in this Asian country, it's 35 hours of work a week. So, as I'm looking for a new job, 40 hours work week means 9-6 office hours. Is this the same for the rest of the world?
