Question about what employers can make employees do

I used to work for a retail company (with shit pay) and I definitely did way too much. I was a store manager and ran two stores at once for over a year. This was by choice to give my employees more hours during covid so they had money for bills. I left the company but they are now going to be enforcing store managers to run two stores if a store opens due to someone leaving or getting fired. And if they don’t accept running two stores, they will be let go. This hasn’t been announced, hasn’t been talked about, and they aren’t allowing upper management to hire for those positions or promote. If you accept a job running one store and are forced to now run two or lose your job, is this something someone would win an unemployment hearing with?
