Healthcare worker here. I just got my paycheck but I also got 3 other random deposits made by my company. They’re all varying sizes of very small to about a shift’s pay. I’m thinking I probably just got laid off but I’m still on the mobile app schedule to work. The schedule goes up until mid July at the moment. It was recently updated as those shifts weren’t visible to me a few days ago when I last checked. I did work Memorial Day but the overtime bonus is usually just rolled into the larger deposit. I’ve already begun looking for a new place to work due to some unrelated reasons. Should I expedite that search?
I’m not salaried and I’m not in a union so there’s no pay adjustments going on as I’ve not received any raise that I’m aware of. I was looking to leave the place soon as it sucks working there due to the shitty management. So honestly getting laid off might be a blessing in disguise as there are plenty of other places hiring for a higher hourly wage. It just sucks that I might not be able to keep the friends I made at the job.
