During the summer I worked part-time for a company in Copenhagen. I told them I didn't have my CPR # but they assured me they would help me get one. And that I was allowed to work in Denmark for three months before needing a CPR.
I haven't been paid at all. So three months later they fired me and when I tell them I want my pay they need my CPR #.
I found out through another company that I worked with over the summer that they could do something called manual pay. Which I sent and advised this company do. (As I would imagine not paying me is against the law.)
So this person agreed but is going to take 55% on taxes. I'm not Danish and just would like to know is this is normal to take 55%.
I knew Denmark's tax is high but this is crazy.
