Hi all, just left a job at a clinical packaging company. I was working in accounting. Left the job because I had a lot of work that was never supposed to be mine and couldn’t handle the load. I asked for help for three months and never got much of a response until HR asked me “do you want to resign” like no I asked for HELP. Finally Thursday my manager took tasks away from me but then started to give me more on Monday. More of HER tasks. I was out of there by Friday. I also found out the new hires made more than myself as well as my coworkers who have been there for years, no one has a degree and they all have same amount of experience, but when one of my coworkers (the one who was making more and who told me her salary directly I did not ask) went and told my manager that she told me pay, my manager went to my VP and she told me in a meeting (meant for me asking for help) that if I was discussing pay while it’s not legal to be fired for that, the CEO would find a reason and wouldn’t hesitate to come into my office and fire me on the spot. They also put up a sign for building tags, that cost 10 cents to buy, if you lose them they will charge you 20 dollars. They also charge clients 885 dollars for destructing material that takes 40 cents to do. Been trying to leave a review on indeed but never goes through. My thought is that they were right when they said they can remove them. Can’t stand places like this. Even worse it’s a “family business that treats employees like family” first red flag should’ve been the employee snack days lol
