Quit my job!!!!!! Nervous AF but glad.

In February, I started at a company that was within my specialty. 2 months in, they offered to train me on the CNC machine so I accepted. Little did that I know slowly I’d be in a 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, plus 6hrs and a half on Saturday position. Finally had enough, looked for work, was offered a position doing the same thing but that owner agreed to only give me 5 days a week 8 hrs. Since I was being upfront from the get-go. Told my employer and he told me to just clock out and leave. Said a 2 weeks notice is legally required (it’s not, California is an at will state so employees can leave for whatever reason just as much as a boss can fire you for whatever reason) So Monday I start a new job where I have my life back.…

So Monday I start a new job where I have my life back.

Coworker who trained me is going to be absolutely crushed in work because he has to run 2 machines, and homeboy already did 14 hours a day. He called me back and said he would talk to the boss but the boss would absolute not relent on Saturdays off even if I worked 2 hours 3 days out of the week overtime.
