I've been stuck in a highly manipulative job for the past 1.5 year. I was working as a maitre / waiter / bartender in an extremely understaffed restaurant. Both my coworkers left in the past month, now it's only me and the owner / head chef. I was promised better working conditions and a higher salary about half a year ago but it never happened. I got into a huge depression about 3 months ago and my employer figured i was ''not worth the risk to give a better contract''. (I'm not even kidding).
Last week i have been given a visa for a tropical country so i'm going within 2 months. I'm not going to waste my 20's working three jobs for far too little of a pay.
