Quit my receptionist job after 2 weeks with a formal note and set of keys and this was the managers response.

It’s not a terrible response but it’s funny and ironic. I got hired on the spot for this job only to find out it was because the only girl who could train me, was leaving for surgery just 5 days after I started. The ‘trainer’ did a bad job at training because she would start showing me how to do something for a good 2 minutes then would run off to gossip. I spoke to the owner of the practice several times about my concerns and he was a very very fake nice type of guy. “Well it’s just the circumstances. She’s great. Etc..” then.. when the girl left they hired someone new and I basically had to train her on stuff I barely knew. It was such an unorganized place and the owner didn’t even know how stuff was run… in his own practice. The people I worked with…

The people I worked with were not my cup of tea and they were all extremely rude to me when I didn’t know how to do something. And not to mention, the girl who left for surgery wasn’t allowed to take more than 5 days off. That’s insane.
