Oh boy do I have a good one for you all! Little background the company I work for is crap utter crap they are the company that calls employees “Family” 🤮 Been working there for 2 years part time. And in those 2 years 8 people have come to work here and 8 have left. So now it’s me my manager, higher up, and owner that’s it just 4 people. This company has forgotten I work for them too many times to count they like to preach about flexibility which is their code for “we didn’t plan at all” They’ll text me which location to go to and I’ll sit and sit and sit and 2 min before my shift starts “oh hey we need u at X location sorry forgot to text u”. They have always been late with pay they stopped direct deposit and refuse to answer why. My manager has been an absolute jerk since the last person quit. He is a classic bully, makes fun of what I wear, let’s me know when I look ugly, tells me to shut up about my life (but will talk non stop about his church). In a nut shell they all suck but my manager has been on my nerves for too long. I only really deal with him as the other higher up does online things and the owner is the managers MOM! Nepotism is alive and well if anyone was wondering. So my hours were a bit weird they didn’t always need me but my main hours were 6.5 a day. Pretty normal for part time. I started at 18$ and now I’m at 22$ sounds great only my hours are no longer 6.5 no no my daily hours now are 2. The company knows I need more hours as I’ve said it many times to all of them and yet nothing has changed. So since I knew this company wouldn’t change (8 people already tried) I looked for another job quietly and got it. Last Thursday I typed up my resignation letter…. Thursday afternoon I’m working with my manager and we get in a small argument about my hours next he drops the beautiful line “you don’t like it go get another job” when I tell u I floated to my car to get that letter I frickan floated hahaha! As this jerk hands me my tripod back I hand him the letter. Me “make sure this gets to the boss” him “what is it?” Me “my resignation letter bye” and I drove away!
