WFH & 8 hour work days

From my personal experience WFH has shown the world how 8 hour work days are outdated. I’m able to get all my projects done in 4-5 hours tops. The rest of the time is spent doing whatever the f I want while being “active” on the Team chat. While some may say “That’s awesome you can be paid to do nothing work related” I find it stifling to HAVE to be attached to my computer in some form so that I don’t get dinged for being inactive and/or respond to chats if one comes through. (Full time is 40 hours where I’m at and I need full time status to get health insurance for my family.)
