I just need to rant. So I am a trainee at my place of work. Almost fully certified. As a result of a month-long training pause due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, they decided to give me another round of simulators in a final push to get me done. Fine. No problem.
My supervisor approaches me and asks if I would like to earn some credit hours (think comp time) on Tuesday (today) to finish my simulators.
I think about it but ultimately decide that I value my time off and would pass on the offer and just worry about finishing them later in the week.
As I am leaving work yesterday, same supervisor tells me he has been ordered to give me an overtime shift today to finish, forcing me to come in on my day off in which I am not even being used for staffing. Fuck management.
