This has me pissed. I (26f) started in August at a hotel and purposely asked for less pay because of grants and financial aids and to work a credible amount of hours very part time i was limited to 16hours per week @ 13h for overnights. The way the pay is set up is a base wage, in my case $11, with a differential of $2 per hour for 3rd
Cutting ahead, 2 weeks after i start the managers change over and i réalisé my check is shorted. I bring it up and get told they’ll fix it. After over a month and a half they finally corrected my pay rate however i have not been paid what i was owed, and instead, i find hours missing off my time sheet now and then which i haven’t been paid for. So far, i’m missing about $240 and HR wants to pay me in a gift card as compensation. Almost 3 whole months of not getting paid. Guess this is more of a rant but i got no clue what else to do.
