I did it, I studied and worked for 4 years, got enough knowledge and experience to get that 110k job and somehow I feel so drained and am still broke af. I work 9 to 10 hour days which gives me about 3 non productive hours to myself every day. Weekends are a crash, Saturday I just wind down from the week unable to even pull myself out of bed most of the day, and Sunday I get to maybe do something productive I like to do besides work for a couple hours, then it’s right back on track for another draining week. 110k sure sounds a lot, I thought so too, but between paying my school loans back, bills and almost 50% income tax I have nothing left at the end of the month. The system is rotten from the core, it’s meant to keep you poor no matter how much you make, It’s not worth it, I’m burned out and tired of working so hard and being broke.
