My supervisor and I were scheduled for a zoom from 10am-1pm (3 hours). I initially told her that I could meet until 1, because I'd have another meeting at 1. I later asked if we could end 5 mins early. She first said yes, then asked “Is there a reason for ending at five until?” I explained that I needed to get something to eat. She accepted this, but I felt annoyed that I needed to explain my request to end a 3 hour meeting 5 mins early. It may seem small, but I think it speaks to a lot, it is one of the many, many reasons I need to leave this job
