Received a promotion, without any raise. My peers are earning $20k more than me and we have the exact same job responsibilities.

I’m so defeated. A little more than two weeks ago my manager thrust a promotion on me. He invited me and several other colleagues to a meeting and announced that we would have a title change. Initially, I was excited because the position was the next role in my career progression, and it came it paid approximately $20,000 more than I make now. The change was immediate and my workload instantly doubled. Fast forward to two weeks later and I find out that they’ve conveniently added the title of “Associate” to my role and that I will not be receiving a pay raise of any kind. I am dumbfounded. Because of Glassdoor, I know how much peers make, and it is more than $20,000 of what I am earning now. I’m shocked that the company, a fortune 50 corporation, could be so cheap. I feel like my only recourse is…
