Antiwork

Recently laid off. I need income but I need to be there for my 4yo. I’m lost on where to go from here

I worked for my dad for over a decade and left due to a toxic work environment. I was well paid and able to bring my daughter to work. She was and is in school from 8:30-11:30. I decided to nanny so I could pay some bills and still be with my daughter. I found a great fit where I would have a bit of a break during the day and could still take my daughter to speech therapy. There was a death in the family and I was let go because they could not afford me anymore. This job would’ve been perfect bc it ended when my daughter started kindergarten and then I wouldn’t have to worry about school tuition. My husband can support our family but I don’t think being a full time SAHM is for me. I am unsure if I want to go back to nannying…

My husband can support our family but I don’t think being a full time SAHM is for me. I am unsure if I want to go back to nannying or get a WFH job. I need flexibility to get my daughter to/from school/speech. I’m not sure if full time day care is in the cards due to vague wording in the parenting agreement with my ex. I have a business degree (bachelors). I’m just lost and don’t know where to go from here.

Has anyone else found a good balance of being there for your child and also had a decent job?
