Recognition coin

I work for a major sportswear company with typically lower wages than other companies in their field. They just sent a company wide email, stating they were handing out a limited amount of Recognition Coins to leadership who would then distribute them (at their discretion) to those they believed went above and beyond. This comes after a scathing internal survey about employee retention and wages showed that the majority of employees are unhappy with their compensation and during our busiest time of the year. What a joke. I’d rather have a pizza party. How can upper leadership be so incredibly out of touch? Fuck this bs.
