So this week I had an interview as a consultant. The company that would hire me is company X, who will train me and pay me and company Y will hire me from them for 80% of the time, so I have 20% space for training with company X.
The recruiter from company X was at the interview I had with company Y. The interview went very well, and I was mostly talking and asking questions. Company Y made a good impression and down to earth manager.
Then the recruiter started talking… Saying after a year I would be taken over by company Y (no I won't, i will be moving to another part of the country and expected another deal as a consultant for company X) he also said I was already in training with a few others (I'm not, they're not paying or training me at all).
And when I asked the recruiter afterwards why he was saying that he was talking about how we would keep the move hidden and not talk about anything else he said and I should think about it as a relationship with my bf (he talked about my fiance as if it was a elementary school relationship) where there is just a spoken agreement.
My anger was through the roof and I declined the offer.
At the same company I'm hired for an internal role, far far away from this person, but I'm in doubt about if I even want to work at this company at all.
He even called afterwards, saying the internal role would not be enough challenge for me and how the role at company Y would be so much better for me.
Fuck you dude.
