I get these “spammy” amazing opportunities that genuinely suit my interests / experience. I apply, I write tailored cover letters etc. Fine, cool. Then I get more & more & more “amazing opportunities” sent through. I replied “thanks for these but before I apply for more can I get an update on my recent applications?” Never heard from them again LOL. Huge UK recruiter btw. Wot a joke
