All this week I have been getting calls from headhunters and when I tell them my money requirement, they are like, “no no, this position only pays half that, you will have to be reasonable, send me your resume and we will move forward.”
Are you Freaking high? It's not a request. I am literally already making more money. Why on Earth would I leave? Instead, tell your clients to “be reasonable”. Tell your clients that industry experts don't need to take entry level pay. Tell your clients entry level paying jobs should have reasonable entry level qualification requirements. Make up your mind, is it entry level or not?
I think the job market has literally lost its mind. How much are recruiters getting paid to pressure people in to lower paying positions? Seriously, WHAT THE HELL? This is all very strange. I have never seen anything like this, and I have been playing the game a long time.
