So without going into too much detail because I work in the military sector, I’ve recently been blacklisted by a certain client, because of a recruitment agency.
Essentially, recruiter was behaving like most do at the moment (ignorant, rude, ghosting you etc) so I decided to call him up.
Felt like he was trying to gaslight me into something, it worked and I told him to fuck off.
I’ve now found out that the company I have very strong ties with in the past has now blacklisted me because of this recruiter. Apparently, because they ONLY use this agency now and I was “abusive” they don’t want to be associated with me.
I’m sick to death of recruitment agencies having all this leverage when they depend on legitimately skilled people to earn their money.
Rude, pretentious arseholes.
And this is the majority of them, not the minority.
