So today was the worst day I have had at my job so far. So in the morning we discovered that the internet was down so we could only do cash transactions. The whole day was a mess since 80% of our transactions are usually card payments. Not only did the cards machine work, but the computer/register kept getting stuck or just logged us out. At the end of the day we were missing about 30€ from the drawer and when I messaged my boss about it, she told that it’s just life and that we had to cover it. I mentioned it might have been an it issue, but she didn’t care. For context I earn about 4€ per hour and I would have to cover 15€ so thats three hours of my life wasted. I would get having to cover that on a normal day, but this day was a nightmare and they should understand.
