Regret taking a high paying sales job

I took a high paying sales job with a very nice base salary + bonuses for performance. First couple months were great as there were plenty of inbound leads we were receiving. Now? That's completely dried up and they want it to shift to outbound and expect high traction in the next two weeks or I'm out. Definitely gonna start looking now but be weary of how companies detail their sales process. They did a great job alluring that it would be 50% sales and the remainder leadership and strategy. That was a lie. The only literal metric they want tracked are closed sales and don't care at all about me managing the team I'm supposed to be overseeing. Is it hard to ask for companies to just be upfront about the core metrics and duties they actually expect of new hires versus painting a separate picture in the hiring…
